		<description>Excellent coverage of a difficult situation for all Angels fans. As a Cubs fan, it was similar to how things were shaking out when the Cubs decided not to keep Kerry Wood last year. It&#039;s certainly a tough choice to dump or keep a player of Vlad&#039;s stature in this league, but if he can&#039;t commit to doing more than just hitting baseballs in a cage occasionally during the off-season (as told to ESPN the Magazine a few years back), then the Angels shouldn&#039;t reward him with new money.
