New Book on Angel History

Hey everyone out there who is still listening to Monkey with a Halo.  I have published a new book that is available now at Amazon.  It is This Day in Angel History, a compilation of my Today in Halo History articles, one for every day of the year.  As you know, I love writing about Angel history, and this book covers it all, from the origins in the early sixties, through the Jim Fregosi years, the Nolan Ryan and Frank Tanana seventies, the first golden era of Angels baseball from 1979 through 1986, the disappointing but promising nineties featuring Tim Salmon, Jim Edmonds, and Chuck Finley, the second golden era of Angel baseball when Mike Scioscia’s teams were always contending, down to the current Mike Trout era.

You may be surprised to find out that several non-Angels figure in the story of this franchise we all love — people like Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon, Ty Cobb and Casey Stengel, Hank Aaron and Roger Maris, and Cal Ripken and Ken Griffey.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
