I don’t care what kind of success the Angels have had against the Red Sox in the regular season lately, I just hate it when the Angels play them because it does nothing but remind me of all the playoff failures. Now the Angels are actually playing well for the first time this year and the freaking BoSox are going to come to town to try and ruin it… like they always do. I just don’t even think I can talk about it right now. Let’s just move on…
Questions of the Night:
- The Angels finally called up a third catcher, Bobby Wilson (sending down Anthony Ortega), so does that mean we will be seeing Mike Napoli at DH full-time ?
- Will the Angel-generated puff piece on the bullpen turning the corner cause the bullpen to predictably implode? I am guessing yes.
- Jered Weaver is coming off of his first career complete game, can he deliver an encore performance?
