First off, I just want to rub this in the face of all the non-Angel fan haters that immediately discounted them after the first two weeks of the season saying that the Angels would never catch up to the Rangers. Well now they’re 2.5 games back, so all you guys who flipped flopped on the Angels so quickly after being on their jocks the whole offseason can really suck it hard.
Oh, and don’t think that you Angel fans who said the Angels wouldn’t catch up to the Rangers when they were 7 games back in the first month of the season, saying’ they’ll have to battle for the wildcard instead. I’ve never seen a fan base panic and doubt their team so quickly, so yeah you guys who did that should be ashamed of yourselves. Moving on….
So yup, here the Angels are going for an 11 game road win streak after a rocky victory against the Dodgers last night. Jerome Williams doesn’t lose in LA, at all. Well maybe I should say ANAHEIM, but it’s pretty much right there so yeah, this is pretty much another masterful start by Williams in the books. Besides Williams carrying the team on the mound look for Mike Trout to carry the team offensively yet again, Trout is pretty much the backbone of the offense here. Oh, and the muscle too.
and the heart.
and the skill.
and the swagger.
Mike Trout & Friends, ASSEMBLE!!!!
