Another day, another new weekly feature for Monkey With a Halo and I think this one is going to be a lot of fun, if I don’t say so myself. If you follow this blog, then you probably know how active I am on Twitter, talking Angels all the time, even when I am supposed to be doing my real job (shh, don’t tell my boss). One of the things I love best about Twitter is the hashtagged trending topics, especially the humorous ones. So, starting today, every Tuesday, I am going to pitch an idea for trending topic for the Angels fans on Twitter to tackle. This week’s topic is: #ArteMorenoLies.
As you will see in my feature article later today, I think Moreno is lying through his teeth in his recent statements about the Carl Crawford negotiations, so it is time to have some fun at his expense. So here are a few sample tweets to get us started:
